UNDERGROUND INDIE | WEEK 2

Updated: Jun 17, 2021

Each week we add 3 brand-new (mostly) undiscovered indie gems to underground indie volume 1.

This week we've got new songs from The Sunshine State, girlhouse & Openness

The Sunshine State

Skyler Stonestreet has crafted songs for some of the greatest artists of our time. But she saved one of the best for her project The Sunshine State. With serious drive and stories we could listen to all day.

FAV LYRIC: "How did you get the gold? The less I know the better"

girlhouse

If we don't hear this on the next coming-of-age Netflix drama then something's up. This track oozes charm and is pretty cool at the same time.

FAV LYRIC: "We've been waiting for what feels like fifty years"

Openness

We feel like we're drifting in space listening to this. The music floats effortlessly and beautifully.

FAV LYRIC: "Does it cost to believe in a dream, anymore than anyone's bitter fantasy"
